One of my goals this year is to be more active. I specifically worded it like that so that it sounded positive instead of it bringing the dread of exercise. Being more active sounds fun. I have been doing the best I can to be more active. I purposely drove past many open parking spots at the store and parked further away. I ventured out to do yard work when I normally would have come up with some excuse to stay inside. I have been out on a couple walk/jogs in the last few days. My plan is to take it slow and not bust out the full on running for a while so I can hopefully avoid shin splints. Those things are terrible! I also plan to add a little distance each time we go out. The weather is perfect here so that makes it easier to go out. I love how something as simple as getting out and using my body makes me feel so good. Exercise is the best medicine. I need to record this so that the next time I am fighting against going out I can look back and see that I should just get off my butt and go and I will feel so much better after. So future Jennifer...get off your butt and do something!

So far my goals are being met and that is a great feeling! I am finding things I love about me and I am finding that I am feeling an increase of positivity and an overall goodness in my attitude! Yay!
